Seattle pavers are a flexible pavement system that allows for movement. They are almost indestructible and the pavement system moves in unison with the earth’s usual tendency to swell and contract over the long term and under certain climate conditions, thus avoiding any serious damage. Seattle pavers have a high density rating that allows them to have qualities of amazing strength and durability, stability under heavy loads, and are not affected by heat and frost. Pavers can be used in any climate and can be trafficked immediately upon compaction. Our segmental paving system allows for expansion and contraction without producing surface cracks. The joints between the pavers eliminate the cracking, which is common with traditional asphalt and concrete pavements. Manufactured to very strict dimension tolerances, pavers are superior than standard poured concrete and more durable than asphalt. They will stand the test of time under the most extreme conditions.

Low Maintenance
Seattle Pavers can easily be replaced without patches in the case of staining or breaking. It is an inexpensive procedure that leaves the surface looking as good as new and no trace of patches. If you are worried about stains us a darker colored paver as it will hide most stains. Sealers and herbicides can be used to control any ants or weeds that present themselves. Seattle Pavers are very easy to maintain. An occasional rinse or sweeping will maintain the beauty, but is not necessary. For unsightly stains, pressure washing with a cleaning solution or a spot treatment will solve the problem. Re-sanding the joints may be necessary.
Winter Durability and snow Removal
Treat pavers as any other surface when it comes to plowing or shoveling snow. The high quality of our installation and the chamfered (bevelled) edge of pavers will prevent you from catching an edge with the plow or shovel. Using de-icing products like salt or calcium chloride will not harm the Seattle pavers. All types of snow-melt systems work well under Seattle pavers, eliminating snow removal while reducing slip hazards. Dark Seattle pavers will help snow melt faster. Seattle pavers perform exceptionally well in freeze thaw cycles.
Safety
On both vehicular and pedestrian applications, pavers have a non-skid surface. Even when the pavers are wet, they are safe to walk or drive on.
